Who are the Founders?

Chany Ventures founders represent a diverse group of individuals, including both early-stage female-led start ups and traditional businesses seeking to start a business, innovate, raise capital, or just stay afloat. These women are eager to learn and grow, often lacking connections in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which can hinder their development. They are looking for a supportive, judgment-free environment where they can build essential skills and gain insights from experienced mentors. FAQs

  • Our program supports companies with at least 1 female founder. The company can be idea-stage, early- stage, and/or have limited revenue

  • The mentorship position is not monetarily compensated, but it comes with perks like VIP access to demo day weekend.

  • Yes. All mentors will get a first-look at our founders and we will make introductions to any company you’d like to consider for investment.

  • We will share your bio with the founders and they will have an opportunity to schedule introductory meetings with the mentors they are interested in working with. From there, founders will select their top choices and CV will create the matches.

  • Our ideal mentor profile is dedicated and supportive. Our mentors are entrepreneurs, investors, lawyers, marketing professionals, product managers, CEOs, analysts, and subject matter experts. If you are eager to give back, we will find an opportunity for you.

  • General Mentors can decide how much time they’d like to commit on an ongoing basis.
    Subject Matter Experts will be asked to host up to 2 virtual workshops per year.
    Bootcamp Coaches should plan to commit 1-2 hours per week for the duration of the bootcamp (4-5 weeks).

  • We are currently seeking both English and Spanish speaking mentors.
